Youth Registration OPEN for FALL 2024
REMINDER:
- Referees needed (age 13+). Navigate to the "Becoming a Referee" page or contact GNWSA Director of Referees, Josh Smith, at referee@gnwsa.com.
- Golf carts are not allowed on / between fields at any of our parks per city code. Please park in designated areas or curbside along the street.
- Dogs are not permitted at the Roanoke Soccer Complex per city code. Dogs must be on leash and safely away from the playing fields at Harmony Park and Justin Park.

Fall 2024 Season Dates (subject to change):
- Aug 3: Mandatory Coach / Team Manager Meeting (Times TBD)
- Aug 24: Season Opens for U9-U19
- Sep 7: Season Opens for U4-U8
Spring 2024 Season Dates:
- Feb 17: U9- U14 Season Opener (not all associations & teams will play)
- Feb 24: U4- U8 Season Opener (not all teams will play)
- Feb 24: Ends Regular Registration for U15+
- Mar 9-17: Spring Break (game break unless teams want to play)
- Mar 23: U15+ Season Opener
- Mar 31: Easter Sunday (no games)
- May 19: Annual General Meeting (see more info on the Elections page)
- May 16: Targeted last day of season (please keep 1-2 weeks available due to weather reschedules)

EARRINGS:
Earrings are not allowed for games.
No posts, tape, band aids, etc.
No exceptions.
BRACELETS:
Only Medical Alert bracelets may be worn and must be taped.
NECKLACES:
Necklaces must be removed to play.
CASTS:
Are allowed if bubble wrapped and not used for leverage or a weapon on the field.
LATE REGISTRANTS:
Late registrants lose return to team privileges.
If you need additional time to register, please contact the board.
We will work with you.
Do not contact the board about team placement if you register late.
GOLF CARTS:
Do not drive your golf cart on the grass or sidewalks at Harmony Park or Lakeview.
Please park in the parking lot or against the curb.
DOGS:
Dogs are not allowed at Roanoke Soccer Complex.
Dogs brought to Harmony Park, Lakeview, Justin must be leashed at all times.

The purpose of GNWSA is to create and maintain a youth program based on the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and courage taught through organized athletic activity. All persons participating in the program shall strive to develop fair play among the youth, and place secondary importance on winning games. Participants include players, parents, coaches, spectators, officials, and other GNWSA volunteers.
